Wet wall panelling removes the grout line, which is where almost every tiled bathroom eventually fails. A large-format panel run has one or two sealed joints instead of several hundred metres of grout absorbing water and discolouring.
It is also faster. A panelled shower enclosure is installed and usable in a fraction of the time a tiled one takes to fix, grout and cure, which matters when the property is let or the bathroom is the only one in the flat.
Panels and flooring are quoted in the same three-tier structure as the rest of our ranges. The entry tier covers robust PVC panelling and click-fit LVT suited to rental turnover. The middle tier moves to high-pressure laminate, stone and marble effects and glue-down plank with acoustic underlay.
The top tier is large-format panelling with colour-matched trims, herringbone and chevron LVT layouts and perimeter detailing cut to the room.
Panelling and LVT earn their place anywhere the floor and walls take punishment or the property has to come back into use quickly. That is most rental stock, HMOs and serviced accommodation, and increasingly family bathrooms and utility rooms too.
LVT handles underfloor heating, spills and heavy footfall without the cold underfoot feel of porcelain, and individual planks can be lifted and replaced rather than re-laying a floor.

A properly installed panel system lasts fifteen to twenty five years, and most quality panels carry a manufacturer guarantee in that range. Longevity depends almost entirely on the joint and edge detailing at installation, which is why we supply and fit rather than fitting panels bought elsewhere.
Often yes, provided the tiles are sound, flat and firmly bonded. Overboarding avoids a messy strip-out and saves a day or two, but if the tiles are drummy, uneven or hiding damp we remove them, because a panel is only as flat as what sits behind it.
Yes. LVT is fully waterproof and is one of the better choices for bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms. Glue-down plank is preferable to click-fit in wet areas because there is no floating joint for water to travel through, and the perimeter is sealed against the wall or panel line.
